Title: Float Pool RN - Medical Surgical

Location: Gainesville, FL

Salary/Pay Rate: $43.00 per hour flat rate.

• Night shift differential: $4.25/hour.
• Weekend differential: $3.00/hour.
• This position is eligible for a $20,000 sign-on bonus and case-by-case relocation assistance.

Schedule: Full-Time, 3x12 hour shifts. Day Shift (7a-7p) and Night Shift (7p-7a) available, with rotating weekends.

Job Description:

We are looking for a versatile and highly skilled Float Pool RN to provide exceptional patient care across various medical-surgical units. In this role, you will be a vital member of a supportive and collaborative nursing team, adapting to different environments and patient needs. You will serve as a crucial advocate for patients and their families, ensuring their privacy and delivering comprehensive, planned care with a dedication to quality and continuous improvement.

Required Skills:

• Minimum of 1 year of recent (within the last 2 years) acute care experience in a Medical-Surgical setting.
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Active and unencumbered RN licensure. (Candidates with a compact license and 3+ years of experience are encouraged to apply; those with less than 3 years will need to obtain a Florida license).
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification, or ability to obtain within 30 days of employment.
• Must be able to pass an AHCA Level 2 background screening.
